Mike Skewes

Counsellor BA.Min(Couns); Dip.Min; APC (Clinical, Supervisor); PACFA/ARCAP (Clinical) Mike has had an extensive background in pastoral ministry, school and community counselling. Having been lead male counsellor at a number of regional and inner city agencies, Mike has also had extensive experience in training other counsellors, clinical supervision and mentoring. Passionate about helping all people who come through his doors but he has a special interest for those who have experienced abuse. A member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals, and Global Association of Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies, Mike keeps up with the latest best practices in this field.

Tara Paterson

Tara is a generalist counsellor working across all ages for individual counselling with a focus on working with youth and young adults . Tara is trauma informed and skilled in assisting with goal setting, loss of direction, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, carer burnout, compassion fatigue, domestic violence , family violence, chronic illness management and many more issues and areas. Tara is nationally registered with CCAA under PACFA. Tara has a Bachelor or Arts with a Major in Counselling and Minor in Psychology.

Ignacio Jimenez

Ignacio holds a Masters in Social Science (Family Counselling), Advanced Certificate in Supervision, and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Services Management. He has over twenty-five years experience as a Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. He is a clinical member of PACFA and AAOS. Ignacio has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, correctional services and nursing homes. He specialises on individual, couples and relationships counselling. He has ample experience with expatriates, migrants and refugees undergoing settlement and acculturation processes. He has worked extensively with issues of domestic violence, alcoholism, addictions, and trauma. Ignacio is passionate about his work. His goal is to ensure that the people he works with develop the best version of themselves and can live a happy and fulfilling life.

Christine Frederick

Christine has a B.Ed.; MA (Couns); a Grad Dip (Couns); CCAA Clinical Supervisor and profession membership with PACFA and CCAA at a clinical level.  Christine has had a background as a primary school educator, including as the school counsellor and community counselling including supervising counsellors and chaplains. Christine has experience working with people from all walks of life. Christine works with families, couples and individuals. She takes the time to sit with clients and works to empower people to manage their lives more effectively and develop strategies that can assist them in everyday living.
